Linda was born in 1955 she was the eldest of five, three brother and one sister we stayed on the
farm near Gifford it was Linda's 15th Birthday she was very excited and said to mum not to open her
birthday cards she would get them when she got home from school. The school bus picked up primary
children first and dropped them off at Gifford it was when they left Gifford to go to Haddington
they were just round a bend when a lorry over took a bread van and tore the side off the bus Linda
was one of three children who died that day they were singing Happy birthday to her at the time it
was a horrible day.
Linda lived life to the full she was very pretty a happy go lucky person who is missed every day
